New – Seaforth student report cards moving online

Dear Seaforth Parents & Guardians:

This school year Ecole Seaforth Elementary will be introducing a change in how we distribute student report cards.

Previously, we have handed out print paper report cards for students to deliver home.  Starting this term we will be moving to online distribution of student report cards via the MyEducation BC Student Portal   www.myeducation.gov.bc.ca/aspen/logon.do

On December 11, students will take home print copy of specific student login and password information that will allow parents / guardians to set-up your child’s account via MyEducation BC.  Please be sure to check with your child (look for the green letter).

It is very important that you set up your child’s account as soon as possible as student report cards will be published online for your viewing via the MyEd Student Portal on December 18.  Accounts will need to be created prior to being able to view your child’s report card.

Please click here for directions to assist you in setting up your child’s student portal account.  Once you have set-up your child’s student account, the system will send you an email each time your child’s report card is ready to view throughout the school year and you will be able to print and/or save a copy of each report card at that time for your own records.

Note:  “account disabled” is a standard message displayed when the MyEducation system is very busy and not accessible.  My Ed is a system used province wide and many districts publish report cards within the same time frames.  If you see this message, please try to login again at another time.

Please do not hesitate to reach out to the school if you have any questions.

Sincerely,  Anthony Yam   Principal / directeur   Anthony.Yam@burnabySchools.ca
