Friendly Safety and Procedural Reminders

Dear École Seaforth Families,  I hope you and your family are having a wonderful start to the school year.

To help create the best possible learning environment for our students, I would like to kindly remind families of a few routines that help keep our school day running smoothly, support student safety, and minimize interruptions to learning.

During the school day

If you need to get a message to your child or drop off an item such as school supplies, lunch, or another personal belonging, please contact the school office by phone or email, or stop by the office. Our office staff will be happy to ensure that messages and items are delivered to students.

We understand that there may be occasions when a parent or guardian is asked to deliver an item directly to their child. In these situations, we ask that you check in at the school office first before proceeding to any classroom or other area of the school.

To support the safety and well-being of everyone in our school and to help minimize disruptions to learning, all visitors and guests are asked to report to the school office upon arrival.

Classes are in session from 8:55 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., and we greatly appreciate your support in protecting valuable instructional time for all students.

After-school plans

We also ask families to make arrangements for after-school plans, such as pick-up arrangements, playdates, or other activities, before students arrive at school each day. The school telephone is intended primarily for emergencies, and there are often lineups to use the phone at the end of the day. Planning ahead helps ensure that the phone remains available for students who genuinely need it.

Thank you for your continued support, cooperation, and partnership. By working together, we can ensure that École Seaforth remains a safe, welcoming, and engaging place for all students to learn and thrive.

Sincerely,  Anthony Yam, Principal
