Dear Seaforth Community, Seaforth’s PAC Sponsored Annual Holiday Market will be back December 1st (3pm-7pm) in our school gym.
Join us in kicking off holiday festivities while doing some fundraising for our school! Our market features early holiday shopping, food, fun games, holiday crafts, live music, and PRIZES! Admission is free! Similar to last spring’s carnival, Seaforth families will be able to buy tickets in advance for games and activities. Get your tickets early to avoid lineups! Advance ticket sales will begin next week via Munch-A-Lunch, and a note will be sent out when ticket sales go live, along with details on ticket delivery.
Donations: Fundraisers like our Annual Holiday Market play a key role in funding school activities like pancake breakfast, classroom supplies, rainy day activities, Grade 7 graduation, and much more! Over the past year, rising food costs have eroded much of the revenue generated by our Hot Lunch program, making this year’s Holiday Market an even more critical component of PAC fundraising.
How can you help? Please consider donating a prize! We happily welcome any prize donations that Seaforth families can make to help with fundraising at our Holiday Market! Examples of items we’re hoping for: sporting event tickets; wine or craft beer for gift baskets; gift cards for retail stores, movies theatres, restaurants or food delivery; experience passes (e.g. Science World, Vancouver Aquarium, spa services, etc.); and new kids’ books, board games and activities (e.g. Lego, craft kits). If you’re a business owner, we also welcome in-kind donations of goods or services. To make a donation, please email seaforthmarketplace@gmail.com and we will coordinate donation drop-offs. Volunteers: You can also help by volunteering at our Holiday Market! We’re looking for parents and alumni to help with various aspects of the Holiday Market, including set up/clean up, staffing games and crafts stations, and assisting with food sales. Volunteer shifts are only two hours long and are a fantastic way of connecting with and contributing to the Seaforth community!
