Dear Parents and Guardians of Ecole Seaforth Grade 4 and 7 Students,
Each year students in Grades 4 and 7 are required by the Ministry of Education and Child Care to write a set of three provincial tests called the Foundation Skills Assessment (FSA). The Foundation Skills Assessment is an annual province-wide assessment of all BC students’ academic skills in Grades 4 and 7, and provides parents, teachers, schools, school districts and the Ministry with important information about how well students are progressing in the foundation skills of Literacy and Numeracy.
Students in Grades 4 and 7 at our school are scheduled to write the FSA tests between October 8th and November 8th.
