Dear Parents/Guardians of Ecole Seaforth Community,
We have several students in our school who have life threatening food allergies to nuts, seeds and other food items. These food allergies can be severe and exposure to these substances could result in anaphylaxis, which requires immediate medical attention.
We understand that many families like to celebrate birthdays and other occasions with special treats. Please ensure any food sent in to share with students is pre-packaged (preferably labelled with ingredients) and given to your child’s teacher for distribution.
Thank you in advance for making the class environment a safe and healthy place for the students. By working together, we can make a difference for our children.
