Dear incoming Kindergarten families,
Following is a TENTATIVE schedule for September 2023 to assist you with planning.
Kindergarten Welcoming Conversations – Tuesday, September 5th to Thursday, September 7th During these days, the Kindergarten teachers will be meeting with the Kindergarten child and their parents for a one-to-one meeting. After we have completed all of the meetings, you will be receiving a telephone call indicating which teacher your child will be assigned to. A letter with scheduled time and date will be mailed to your home in July.
Gradual Entry – Friday, September 8th to Friday, September 15th
All Kindergarten students, in all classes, will attend as follows:
8:50 am to 10:00 am Friday, September 8th
8:55 am to 11:00 am Monday, September 11th
8:55 am to Noon Tuesday, September 12th
8:55 am to 1:00 pm Wednesday, September 13th
8:55 am to 2:00 pm Thursday, September 14th
8:55 am to 2:30 pm Friday, September 15th
Monday, September 18th
Full time session begins today, Monday September 18th. All Kindergarten students will attend school from 8:50 am to 3:00 pm from this day on. Please send a daily snack and lunch and a change of clothes with your child.
