Last week we were fortunate to have guest author, Jeff Chiba Stearns visit our students to talk about identity. He is a Burnaby resident and has mixed heritage which is the focus of his books and presentations. Today (September 10) a form has been sent home so if students (Grade 1 to 7) wish to order a copy of one of his books, they can. There is no obligation to order. He would like to be paid by cash or cheque. Forms can be returned to the classroom teacher or to Ms. Lloyd, the librarian. The due date on the form says Wednesday, September 11, but you may return the form by the end of this week or early next week.
